Chair: Sjoerd Houwing (sjoerd.houwing@cbr.nl) Rehabilitation measures vary largely in design, target groups, goals, and costs. There is a lack of scientific overviews on existing designs of rehabilitation measures and their effects on reducing recidivism. Moreover, there is a need for clear guidelines for policy makers, practitioners, researchers and other professionals to aid them in deciding which design would be most effective given all relevant circumstances in their specific situation. To provide these insights ICADTS started an interest group on rehabilitation measures. The main goal of this group is to write a position paper on rehabilitation measures that will provide best practice options for road safety professionals with respect to different legislative systems, target groups and budgets.
